Like I said before it is wayyy to early for him to be on stage. Looks as if Kanye broke down bad on stage Saturday in Paris,while he was just about to perform "Hey mama" to the audience. *tears* The exact words from the sold out concert attendee was "He said the word, 'Mother' and just couldn't go any further,". I find it very awkard that he was not present at Donda's memorial service and the fact that he is still perfoming .Truth be told, even though he might be trying to show to the outside and probably his mother;R.I.P that he's a strong person. People do hurt and it is okay to lay cool for a while. That does not mean you're weak. My prayers goes out to this family .Read more on this after the cut.
Only a week after his mother's death, Kanye West returned to the concert stage Saturday night in Paris, only to dramatically break down in tears, audience members tell PEOPLE.
Nearing the end of the more than 60-minute performance, with the riff of "Hey Mama" beginning, West attempted to introduce the tribute to a sold-out crowd at Le Zénith in Paris, saying "this song is for my mother...." and could get no further.
"He just cracked," one attendee tells PEOPLE, "He was at the end of his concert and had just started to dedicate the song and then he just lost it completely."
"He said the word, 'Mother' and just couldn't go any further," Le Parisien journalist Meddy Magloire said. "A back-up singer, the DJ and a guitar player came over to console him. It looked like he might collapse. He just couldn't continue. He just stood there in a spotlight, crying while the band continued playing."
After a few moments of stunned silence, Magloire says, the audience of 5,000 reacted by offering calls of encouragement, which grew into applause.
The band restarted the song, but West left the stage, returning after 10-15 minutes to conclude the concert with a rousing performance of "Stronger."
"He was very nervous, seemed to have gathered himself up, and had a lot of energy," Magloire says. "He kept shouting out to the audience, 'I need you... I need you right now.' and the public was screaming back. It was magic."
Surprise Appearance
West had been reclusive since death of his mother. He cancelled a Victoria's Secrets performance on Thursday and was not at the memorial for her in Chicago on Friday.
His arrival in Paris at the Hotel Le Meurice on Friday, accompanied by fiancée Alexis Phifer and her son, was unexpected, coming just hours after another scheduled concert set for Monday in Amsterdam was officially cancelled.
West is scheduled to perform in Brussels on Sunday night. It's now expected he will return to the United States for his mother's funeral in Oklahoma City on Tuesday afternoon before returning to Europe to perform in London on Thursday. {SOURCE}

Dr. Donda West, Kanye's mother, was eulogized and lauded by friends and former colleagues Friday afternoon (November 16) at a memorial service held at Chicago State University, where she was on the faculty for 24 years. Praising her as a mentor, colleague and friend, West — who died on Saturday following surgery — was remembered as an inspiration during a lively event that featured gospel singing, heartfelt reminiscences and pleas for some traditional call-and-response from a colleague who doubles as a preacher. "She had a vibrant spirit, and one that was nurturing and also supportive, but nonetheless always challenging," Robyn Wheeler, director of university relations, told People magazine before the event. "We felt the service should reflect who she really was." Judging by a live feed of the event provided by NBC5.com, it did not appear to feature son Kanye — who is reportedly still in Europe, where he is slated to kick off his European tour next week — though People reported that Donda West's nephew would be on hand to represent the family. One colleague, current English and Communications Department Chairwoman Dr. Brenda Eatman Aghahowa, remembered a few maxims that Dr. West often related, reminding fellow professors that "the work people are doing is not more important than the people who are doing it," and "No big I's and no little you's in Donda's department." West was a former professor at the school and served as the chair of the English and Communications, Media Arts, and Theater department. "This is an absolutely impossible assignment, both emotionally and practically," said Aghahowa, an ordained minister who insisted the audience in the auditorium and overflow space respond to her calls as if they were in church. "Not only am I having to say something about my dear friend, whom we all have lost far too early, I also have to say what I want to say in just a few minutes. And as I often jokingly tell people, as a black preacher, I need at least five minutes just to clear my throat." {SOURCE}

While he grieves for the sudden, tragic loss of his mother, Donda, Kanye West has had to cancel a number of previously made engagements, including a scheduled appearance at tonight's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. Kanye West's mother Donda West; pasted away early this morning. Now some news site are reporting today and others yesterday. Either way,the cause of her death have not been released. Donda West, the mother of hip-hop star and Chicago native Kanye West, died early Sunday in Los Angeles. She was 58. The former English professor at Chicago State University also was her son's manager and the chairwoman of the Kanye West Foundation. Earlier this year, she released a book, "Raising Kanye," that chronicled her son's childhood. A West spokesperson confirmed the death, saying "the family respectfully asks for privacy during this time of grief." SOURCE

LONDON (AP) — Kanye West has 50 Cent's number. The rapper beat out 50 yet again, this time at Britain's Mobo (Music of Black Origin) Awards, where he won Best Hip Hop act on Wednesday. On Tuesday, West was crowned the victor in the pair's hotly contested battle to see which one of their albums, released on the same day, would sell the most in the first week: West's "Graduation" sold 957,000, while 50's "Curtis" sold 691,000 in the United States. West also beat 50 on top of the British album charts. 50 was supposed to attend the Mobos but canceled his European appearances this week.

Kanye West is messing with our minds people, or just 50's. It was rumored on the net that this was West cover art for his upcoming album, dropping Sept11th. Now this photo has hit the net. Oh well whatever. I was not getting it anyways
I think we all have been waiting to see this Album cover from Mya. I think she already released her first single which flopped by the way. But the album cover gives it a pass for me. I love it! (not her). The album release date is set for september 18th. But it might get pushed back
50 Cent Challenges Kanye West with Album drop

As I mentioned previously Rappers 50 Cent and Kanye West will be dropping their album on the SAME DAY- Sep.11th.
So of course 50 being the crazy mofo he is, went on 106 last week, and challenged Kanye with a "Best Album" type competion. Hmm! I have my money on Kanye. Don't get me wrong 50 does sell or used to. Kanye still sells..Let's see how this one play out folks.
Let's see if Kanye will take the dare and show up Sept.11th on 106.

This Kanye West album cover has been floating around the net for at least a week now. If you have not yet peeped it. Graduation will be Kanye's third album and was set to hit stores in August. But got pushed back to Semptember 11th. Guess who's coming out that day also??? I'll give you $20 if you drop in the right answer in the comments lol! I swear! *wink*
