Although I was somewhat aware of this catastrophe, it makes me very angry and sad when I viewed these tragic statistics. According to a National Center for Health statistics study that was released not too long ago. There are 3.2 million teenage girls that is infected with a sexually transmitted disease! If you think that's bad,it's not as disturbing to know that in these 3.2 million teenagers nearly 48% of them are africans-americans teenage girls from ages 14-19 years old! They either have the human papillomavirus (HPV), chlamydia, herpes, or trichomoniasis, with HPV leading the charge. All I can say to every teenage girls who stop by this site. Please,please I am begging all of you to GET TESTED! WEAR A CONDOM AND IF POSSIBLE DO NOT HAVE SEX AT ALL! Each and every single one of you have an amazing purpose in life, so do not let a little boy take that away from you just because he has a problem dealing with his little penis or sexual urges. Be careful, protect your self and love your self. This issue is very serious in our community. Don't rush into sex just because you see your friends babbling about it. Take your time to make something of your selves. Make your parents proud and in the end make your self able to stand up straight in a society that still to this day views african-americans as the inferior kind. Be an achiever,a winner, not a loser.[Source]
