On set: Alicia Key's new movie

Check out Alicia Keys behind the set of her upcoming movie- 'The Secret Life of Bees'. Upon several researches I have found out that this movie is based on the 2002 novel "Secret life of bees" written by Sue Monk Kidd. The character that Keys will be playing is named June Boatwright, the movie is set to be release in 2009 and it is directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood. Set in South Carolina in 1964, The Secret Life of Bees tells the story of Lily Owens, whose life has been shaped around the blurred memory of the afternoon her mother was killed. They escape to Tiburon, South Carolina -- a town that holds the secret to her mother's past.
