- G.V. Loganathan, 51, had been a civil and environmental engineering professor at the university since 1982.
- Liviu Librescu, 76, was an engineering science and mathematics lecturer. Several students credit him with saving their lives.
- Ross Alameddine, 20, was from Saugus, Mass. He was a sophomore English major who reportedly was gunned down in French class.
- Ryan Clark, 22 of Georgia, attends a Virginia Tech football game in 2005. A biology and English major, he was in his senior year.
